HMDA strives to provide balanced and sustainable development across the metropolitan region which also includes the surrounding districts like Ranga Reddy, Medchal, and Sanga Reddy.
The city of Hyderabad was experiencing rapid population growth and infrastructure expansion. This surge resulted in traffic congestion and unregulated development. To address these challenges, the authority created HMDA to provide more effective guidance for urban development.
Functions of HMDA
